Dealing with Payors: Creative Strategies to Optimize your Drug's Positioning & Reimbursement

During this 90-minute session, you’ll learn just what kinds of novel, brand-boosting payor deals pharma firms are creating. You’ll hear how some companies are supporting compliance schemes around their drugs, refunding a drug’s cost if it doesn’t work, or even agreeing to an overall annual spending cap. You’ll understand how this compares — and contrasts — with what private payors in the U.S. are doing. You’ll gain more insight into the likely impact of health care reform, and a hugely expanded insured population, on these reimbursement trends.

You will:

  • Learn how to get payors on your side and maximize your drug’s reimbursement chances
  • Hear multiple case studies from Germany covering a range of creative deal structures designed to secure long-term value for both sides
  • Understand why the German example is relevant to other markets — including the U.S., where payer influence is growing and similar trends are emerging
  • Get a head start in your pricing and reimbursement strategy discussions by analyzing what's already been tried, and what actually works
  • Question the experts on where they feel the trends are moving — and how it’s possible to stay ahead of the curve
